About Me

I love cooking, eating, talking about, looking at, shopping for, and photographing food. I get inappropriately excited about local produce. I heart all things vegetable.

This blog is a way for me to share with you what I learn about food every day. As an advocate for plant-based cuisine, I focus on making dishes centered around fresh seasonal produce. I'm a pescatarian, but I try to follow a vegan diet the majority of the time, and my recipes will reflect that. You will find some super healthy vegan recipes here, but you will also find some delicious dishes with goat cheese or parmesan, because sometimes a girl needs some cheese with her wine. It's all about moderation and balance, and I hope you find something you like here no matter how you prefer to eat.

As a proud Lynchburg resident, I also love to support local growers in my area, as often as I can. You can read my articles and photography in the local entertainment weekly, The Burg, and check out some of my photography on foodgawker, foodporndaily and tastespotting.
